This board is amazing.. I've never seen my games with such beauty and richness of details, running so smoothly.

Quiet and powerful, the GeForce GTX 570 is spectacular, no matter what you're trying to play. I'd certainly recommend it to any of my friends.

The only issue that I had was with the size of it, which is bigger then my chassis. But that is a small problem that was easy to solve (I had to saw a part of it, but no problems.

Lastly, I Recommend a nice 23+ inch display, 1920x1080px, so you can play anything FullHD seamlessly and with absolutely amazing gaming power.

Decided to finally build a new rig. Was debating whether or not to pick this baby up, but decided to go for it. Had just received the MSI Twin Frozr GTX470 and the very next day this card came out, so I did what came natural and returned the 470 and got this one. The lifetime warranty just makes it an even sweeter deal. This card is incredibly quiet just like many online tech reviews stated, and the temps at idle are around 41c upon startup to 37c idle. At load it reaches in the 70's but never goes over that range. I needed a somewhat futureproof card and this fit the bill perfectly.

Pros:

Quiet (My case fans make all the noise, the 570 GTX is almost inaudible)
Fast (Launches into games without a hiccup, and no image or screen tearing or artifacting)
Optimal Temps (Coming from a 9600GT which was 58c at idle, its amazing how low the temps are)
Great design
Quick Shipping and Good Packaging (Amazon Prime overnight for 4 dollars can't be beat, wanted to finish rig before weekend and was able to thanks to quick shipping)

FYI: make sure you have the room in your case for this beast. Even in my 690 Advanced II case it touches the HD bays almost, but I guess you could call it a snug fit. Also make sure you have the PSU to run this as the recommended is 550 minimum wattage and 38A on the 12v rail. If you have a dual 12v rail psu make sure to do the calculations to make sure your amperage is suitable.

Pro's. Runs about 10-15C cooler than previous PNY 465. Super fine rendering in gaming. An increase of about 15-20FPS.

Cons - $$$$$$$

This review is strictly for FS9 and FSX users. I bought this card to replace my Nvidia PNY 465. I chose EVGA because they seemed to be the best rated card I could find. Was considering the Nvidia 480 but reviews said this card ran cooler and used less power. Also Passmark rated it a wee bit faster.

I'm comparing this card to the Nvidia 465 and using Microsoft Flight Simulator as a gauge because it's the only game I play. Anyway, everyone knows FSX is a resource hog and using my Nvidia 465 I could get frame rates of about 22-25 with all setting set to maximum with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. Turning off ambient lighting and ground shadows increased FPS to 33-35. Turning off airplane traffic raised that to well in the 40's. Because I'm a fps fanatic, I wanted to play the game with ALL sliders set to max and a minimum of 30fps. I was hoping my new card could do that.

I'm happy to say that my new card is not only much sharper, but I get around 30-40fps (depending on where I'm flying) with all settings maxed. Lighting and shading seems better and the overall image is MUCH crisper than my previous PNY Nvidia 465. After turning off ambient lighting and ground shadows, I get around 45-50fps and turning off traffic bumps it up to almost 60fps! That's awesome compared to my old card. And FS9 plays around 55-60fps with all settings maxed. : )

It doesn't seem like a HUGE difference, but anyone who's played MSFS knows a gain of 5-15 fps can make all the difference. An added bonus is that my new card runs about 10-15c cooler as well. With my old card running FSX at max settings, I saw temps around 75-77c in a matter of seconds and had to use MSI Afterburner. That's no where near threshold, but I like my gpu temps around 55-60 under full load if possible. Haven't had ANY heat issues with my new card.

Also received it in two days by UPS so was real happy there. They also enclose this cool little silver EVGA sticker and a big poster of a skull - lol.

All in all I'm super happy with the increase in rendering and FPS. That in itself has made this purchase worth it. I hope this review helps other flight sim fans as there doesn't seem to be many reviews out there for us.

And one last thing, make sure you purchase the model ending in AR and not KR. AR has a lifetime warranty but you have to register it in 30 days!....
